Michael represented clubs including Lyon, Chelsea, Real Madrid and AC Milan in a 20-year playing career which also included spells in Greece, Australia and Azerbaijan.
Michael made 59 appearances for Ghana including AFCON and FIFA World Cup tournaments. He was named African Footballer of the Year in 2006 and Ghana and Chelsea’s Player of the Year in 2007.
Playing honours include two Premier Leagues, two Ligue 1 titles, four FA Cups, a Football League Cup and UEFA Champions League.
Michael is currently working as Assistant Manager at FC Njordsjælland in Denmark’s Superliga and is passionate about developing players and helping them achieve their full potential.
