Maurice Edu is a retired American professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born on April 18, 1986, in Fontana, California, Edu began his career at the University of Maryland before moving to Toronto FC in 2007. He went on to play for several other clubs including Rangers, Stoke City, and the Philadelphia Union.
