Les is a highly experienced and well qualified football executive with extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Football. He was appointed as Head of Football Operations at Queens Park Rangers in 2014 and then promoted as Director of Football in 2015, reporting directly to the Board. With these roles, Les has a proven track record of leading large teams and has developed effective relationships in the boardroom, on the training pitch and with many leading stakeholders in the game.
As well as the above, Les had a 20-year playing career spent at home and abroad during which he scored over 200 goals and received 17 international caps.
Les has recently graduated from the Post-Graduate Strategic Leadership course from the University of Liverpool.
