Danny Murphy is a former premier league and international footballer who played over 700 career games in his career and scored 125 goals.

Danny Murphy's Biography

Danny started his career at the famous Crewe Alex academy making his debut at 16. He then moved to his childhood team Liverpool in 1997. He spent 7 years there winning six trophies and played nearly 250 games . He also made 9 appearances for England during this time.

He then had spells at Charlton and Spurs before joining Fulham, where he captained the team to their highest ever Premier League finish and a Europa League final.

He now works on the iconic show MOTD for the BBC and is a regular on talk sport radio. He has been in the media industry for ten years also working for Sky, PLP and Mola TV.

He has also been part of the BBC team that covered the last 3 World Cups and 2 European championships.
